One fo the Little Ways to Kill A Community

Since I published a bunch of novels, I started a small, inexpensive workshop that meets 7PM on Mondays in the East Village. I put this info on 4 flyers & taped them to lampposts in the area, looking for locals who might be interested. This was once standard practice for local events, businesses, etc. Most flyers here are torn down within a day. Yesterday I received a letter of warning from the Dept. of Sanit that I would be fined $100 per flyer if not immediately removed. I only wish I could remove myself from this community-gobbling, tourist trap that was once the great city of my birth.
